Yvonne and Majid Michel were the only two Ghanaians among winners at 7th Nigerian Entertainment Awards held in New York barely two weeks ago.
Majid Michel won the Pan African Actor with the movie ‘Somewhere In Africa’, beating the likes of Van Vicker (‘Paparazzi’), Chris Attoh (‘6 Hours To Christmas’), John Dumelo (‘Ties That Bind’), Kevin Ndege Mamboleo (‘Inside Story’) and Edward Kagutuzi (‘The Mirror Boy’).
Yvonne won with her role in ‘Single Six’, also beating Ama K. Abebrese (‘Ties That Bind’), and Juliet Ibrahim (‘Crazy Scandal’), Kudzai Sevenzo (‘Playing Warriors’), Jokate Mwegelo (‘Chumo’) and Millicent Makheido (‘48’).
The party is supposed to be a surprise, but it no longer is since NEWS-ONE has reported on it.
It will take place at the Fahrenheit Night Club at Airport on a yet-to-be-announced date. However, it will be a full house celebrity event.
