Her appearance at the Miss Malaika finale was also tagged as a special attraction for the event’s tenth anniversary celebration.

Many had thought she was one of the invited celebrities for the red carpet event. But the beautiful actress ended up on the high table. She indeed brought some uniqueness to the judging table. Her demeanor during the evening indeed showed she had fun.
She was fabulously dressed in a red outfit and made her entry into the conference centre on Saturday in the company of her younger sister Elizabeth Okoro and Fashion 101 hostess Sandra Ankobiah.
Miss Malaika is a pageant organized, since 2002, to redefine the African concept of beauty by event organisers Charterhouse.
The show also paraded other important judges as ace broadcaster at Peace FM Kwami Sefa Kayi, musician and host of Allo TiGO Jon Germain, Theresa Ayoade, CEO of Charterhouse and Kay Bentsi Enchill, CEO of Cuticles & Nails.
Bridget Sharon Cofie, an 18-year-old former student of St. Mary’s Senior High School, became the judges’ favourite and was crowned this year’s Miss Malaika.
Regina Anne Dei Van-Helvert, a 20-year-old student of the Central University and Sadia Sanusi 19, a rising fashion star and graduate of Accra Girls’ High School, were first and second runners-up respectively........

Chris Attoh and Naa Ashorkor Doku were the MCs of the evening, with music performances from Edem, D Black, Darey from Nigeria and R2bees. The show attracted other celebrities as Khareema Aguiar, Deborah Vanessa, Amanda Jissih and more. It was also aired on GH One TV.
Yvonne Okoro indeed had busy weekend. On Thursday evening, she was one of the top personalities invited as special guests to the National Youth Awards chaired by President John Mahama.
On Friday, she was at the Accra International Conference Centre for Miss Malaika prejudging with the other judges.
